Check Dates for Your Convocation
Verify the date and time of your ceremony. The time of your Convocation ceremony will also be included in the email you receive to your Carleton email account that confirms your degree has been awarded by Senate.
Check Your Diploma Name
You should verify your name before graduating. Log in to Carleton Central via Carleton360, select Student Online Applications and choose Apply to Graduate. Your name is listed under “Display Name” and this is how it will appear on your diploma.
Submit a Name Change Request form (PDF, 277 kb) if:
- Your legal name contains special characters like accents, raised characters or hyphens that you would like reflected on your diploma.
- If you want to add or remove part of your legal name. (Note: you must provide supporting documentation as referenced on the form.)
- If you want to use a chosen name that differs from your legal name.
You must submit the completed form to registrar@carleton.ca from your Carleton email account.
