Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for rain in Ottawa for Wed. June 10, 2026.
Local rainfall amounts near 50 mm are possible today into this evening. A moisture laden and slow moving low pressure system will bring locally heavy rain showers and the risk for isolated thunderstorms. The high moisture associated with this low will lead to the potential for locally heavy rainfall.
At this time, Convocation ceremonies are proceeding as scheduled.
